#3 Wasatch REVolution @ #2 St. George Blitz
The St. George Blitz traveled to the Wasatch REVolution's house in South Jordan, Utah and beat them in a wacky game by a final score of 28-24. This was AFTER the REV had a commanding 24-0 halftime lead. The Blitz capitalized on costly turnovers and untimely errors by the REV that gave "gimme" scoring opportunities to the Blitz.
Neither offense did jack squat vs. the other in the 1st match up. The stat line looks like this: 255 total yard and 2 TD's REV and 114 total yards and 2 TD's for the Blitz.
With the wind blowing in different directions all day, from the South to the North, then all of a sudden from the Northwest, to the Southeast, the Utah Bears were hosts to the Wasatch REVolution on Saturday and both teams played a downright defensive battle all game long. In the first series by the REV offense, Quarterback Charlie Peterson took a hit after he completed a pass and once again hurt his throwing shoulder. He got up and grimaced in pain, and was relieved by Running Back Orlando Poloa. Poloa was able to get a couple of first downs in the series, but weren't able to get much going after that.
PROVO — Is it possible to make super men and women?
No, we're not talking about the cape-wearing comic-book types or those who juice up on steroids. But can we take athletes and transform them beyond their stereotyped genetic limitations? Can we take elite players in sports and boost their measurables (strength and speed)?
Of course. Happens all the time in gyms and with trainers from California to Finland. In Utah, gyms and trainers hang out shingles all the time. It's a science. Ask Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Take Dave Stroshine, for instance. He's a former Mountain View High and Weber State athlete who experienced a firsthand body transformation. Now he has dedicated his life to taking the ordinary and making it special. (See Full Story)

Summary: After 10 Years at the Helm, RMFL Commissioner, Jared Neumeier announces that 2010 will be his last.
RMFL - "It just feels right".
RMFL Commissioner, Jared Neumeier, who has guided the league since the 2000 season after taking over as "Chairman of the Managing Board", has finally decided that its time to step away... after the 2010 Season completes.
He'll officially hand over the reigns to his successor at the July All-Star game meeting and leave the RMFL which he participated as a player, coach and owner in the late 1990's and saw grow from a 4-team Eastern Idaho only league into the almost 30-team 3-state league it is today.
Neumeier has designated Travis Hobson as his successor... and Hobson has accepted and is willing to take over, however, the final decision on whether it will be Hobson or someone else will ultimately reside in the RMFL Managing Board.
